Gene’s career as an electrical engineer spanned decades, notably with Republic Steel, where he led pioneering efforts in nondestructive testing systems to ensure the quality of steel products. His expertise further extended to General Electric Aircraft Engines, where his work took on national importance as he developed inspection techniques for military aircraft engines and trained allied forces worldwide. Through these contributions, Eugene played a vital role in advancing safety and reliability in critical industries, demonstrating a meticulousness and responsibility that mirrored his personal values.
